It means the provision of non-skilled services including assistance in the activities of daily living, and may include instrumental activities of daily living, related to the needs of the client, who has or is at risk of an illness, injury or disabling condition. We offer customized assistance plans. We recognize that everyone's needs are different, therefore our licensed nurses evaluate each situation on an individual basis to develop a care plan that meets each client's specific needs.
Additionally, our caregivers check the progress of each client, updating the care plan, as needs change. At Home Assistance, our large team of certified nursing assistants offer an array of personal care services for individuals and couples. These trained caregivers are available on an hourly, daily or for 24-hours to help with a variety of services.
PERSONAL CARE SERVICES
Personal hygiene, incontinence care, dressing, grooming, oral care
Companion services, shopping, accompanying to appointments, hospital/nursing facility sitter services
Simple meal or snack preparation, feeding, encourage food intake
Laundry and linen changes, kitchen and dish cleaning
Ambulation, transferring, ROM exercise, wheeling, position change

PCA (Personal Care Aide) Training
CarePeople Home Health, Inc has been a VA Medicaid approved PCA (Personal Care Aide) training school since May, 2010.
We have trained bilingual nursing staffs. In addition to English, our multilingual professionals speak the following languages: Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish and other languages.
